About Me
I work in IT where my role combines network engineering, system administration and DevOps. At my firm, I get to wear many hats, from configuring firewalls and switches, to managing cloud infrastructure, to writing automation scripts that save time and prevent mistakes.
My background is in Automation and Applied Informatics, which means I’m equally comfortable around code, servers, and even electronics or robotics projects. I like solving tricky problems, making systems run smoothly, and then documenting everything so it’s clear and reproducible for others.
What I Work On
- Networks: Cisco, HP Aruba, TPLink network devices like routers, firewalls, WLCs plus monitoring with LibreNMS, Splunk, Snort3, Greenbone, and more.
- Systems: Proxmox, VMware, VirtualBox, Linux/Windows servers, and backup/recovery.
- Automation & DevOps: Go and Python scripting, CI/CD in AWS.
I enjoy building things that make daily work easier — whether it’s a Python script to automate network tasks or setting up monitoring dashboards that give instant insights.
Projects I’m Proud Of
- Anomaly Detection in Industrial Networks — applied machine learning to detect unusual traffic patterns in industrial systems.
- FreePBX Contributions — improved the WebRTC Phone UCP module, built a script for queue agent management, and optimized call reporting through database indexing.
- Network Automation — wrote Python scripts for Cisco devices and integrated them with TeamCity pipelines.

A Bit More About Me
Outside of work, I enjoy experimenting with electronics and robotics, which ties back to my studies. I’m curious by nature and like to understand how things work, whether it’s a piece of hardware or a distributed system.
This blog is my place to share what I’ve learned, from configuring tools and writing tutorials, to summarizing research projects. Hopefully, my notes can help others avoid the same pitfalls and speed up their own work.
